ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of exclusive breast feeding among infants (A case study of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital- Ayinke House, Ikeja).The study comprises of Doctors, Nurses, and Health Workers and Nursing mothers. A total number of fifty questionnaires were distributed among the selected people. The result of these findings were presented and analyzed. Percentages was used for the analysis, result showed that exclusive breast feeding are practiced more by the educated mothers. Thus the need for health education becomes most paramount. This project is therefore written for the health practitioners. This research project goes further in this chapter to shed more light on the importance and benefit of exclusive breast feeding.
